Who it is for

Review analysis for workshops and repair services

In repair services a review is written at two moments: when the invoice arrives and a week after the repair. The report shows which of them generates your complaints — because the fix differs for each.

What keeps coming back in customer reviews

Patterns recurring in workshops, service centres and repair businesses.

A quote different from the invoice

The most common and heaviest complaint in this industry, because it concerns trust. A written quote before work starts removes most of these reviews.

A deadline that moved

Customers forgive a delay they were told about. They do not forgive the day they had to call and ask themselves.

A repair that did not fix the problem

A return with the same fault. When it recurs in reviews it usually concerns one type of job, not the whole workshop.

Explaining the scope of work

The customer does not know what they paid for. It happens even after faultless repairs, and that is when it stings most.

Parts availability and waiting time

The complaint is rarely about the wait itself — it is about nobody saying how long it would take.

Condition of the vehicle or device afterwards

Marks, settings, small things. Nothing to do with the repair, everything to do with the rating.

Where reviews about your workshop live

Google Maps is the base and usually the only place with real volume. Facebook collects regulars, and B2B directories hold profiles created without your involvement — along with their reviews. Mutterbox pulls Google and Facebook; directories appear as places to check.

The car takes longer than promised at drop-off

Critical Punctuality Confidence: high Confirmed in: Google, Facebook

The complaint recurs regardless of the repair and is loudest among customers left without a car. What dominates is not the delay itself but the absence of any update about it.

„It was meant to be Wednesday, I collected it on Monday. For four days I had to call myself to learn anything" Google · 08.04.2026 · review #14522

Questions from workshops

We have few reviews because customers do not write them.

That is the most common situation in this industry, which is why every venue has a screen listing where reviews about your brand already exist and how to get more. A request made at handover turns into a review far more often than an email sent a week later.

How do you tell a complaint about price from one about the quote?

They are two different signals. "Expensive" goes to pricing, "it was supposed to be this much and came out higher" goes to quoting — the first needs a pricing decision, the second a process one, and in this industry the second costs more.

Will the report show which mechanic generates complaints?

Only if customers name them, and then the quote still comes from a public review. We do not build staff profiles out of reviews — it is neither lawful nor sound, because one name reaches a public review out of the several people who worked on the job.
